Hey there college radio nerds! It’s Tyler Lebens. So today on my show I played a New Jersey punk band called the Screaming Females (who only have one female member curiously) I saw these guys about a year ago when they opened up for the Dead Weather in Minneapolis. They sound nothing like the Dead Weather but I really got into them. I went to another show a couple months ago (Solid Gold, they kick ass) and had to sit through 4 opening bands! literally 3 hours of openers, and I didn’t enjoy any of them. So here’s my question, what cool bands have you seen as openers? Did you discover a favorite band opening at a show? What’s the worst opener you’ve seen? Comments and share the LOVE!!!
