You read right, The Ginger Power Hour loves the Dirty Projectors. Last Friday, the 17th, the Dirty Projectors played a super stellar show at the Metro. The night began with a lovely traffic-filled drive down to Chicago in search of noms. Unfortunately, there was a lack of parking everywhere in Chicago so we settled for a starch-filled dinner from Wendy’s. We left Wendy’s and embarked on our journey to the Metro. Note to self: When Jason Mraz and John Mayer come to town, Chicago takes away the pay to parks. : ( Aside from all the hardships that we endured getting downtown, it was totally worth it. You cannot truly appreciate the beauty of the Dirty Projectors until you see them live. We highly, highly, recommend seeing these talented people play live if you ever get the chance. Look them up!
